Finance Clerk
The chosen candidate will be responsible for daily accounting duties. This will involve:
Processing and posting of supplier invoices;
Assisting in the preparation of supplier payments;
Reconciliation of supplier statements;
Issuing of client invoices and receipts;
Other duties normally performed in an accounts department.
This position calls for someone who has good knowledge of accounts together with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position. Candidates in the initial stages of ACCA be given preference. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, will be considered as an asset.
The chosen candidate must have good communication skills in both written and spoken English and preferably Maltese. Whilst being well self-motivated and efficient, the selected candidate must be able to work both individually and within a team.
Labourer assisting Electrician
Forming part of the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) department, the applicant will work hand in hand with the Electrician and will be assisting in all the daily tasks. The ideal candidate must be willing to do manual labour work assisting the M&E department.
Previous experience in a similar role as well as a basic knowledge in electrical wiring will be considered an asset.
Repairs & Maintenance Supervisor
The Supervisor will be based at our plant in Ta’ Zuta, limits of Dingli where the individual will be planning, organizing and coordinating the day-to-day running of the Repairs & Maintenance garage whilst ensuring all relevant documentation processes are adhered to.
The ideal candidate should be a mature, hands-on type of person, be computer literate and possess a good level of written/spoken Maltese and English. A minimum O’level standard of education is required together with relevant mechanical/technical qualifications. Previous work experience in a supervisory role is required. Previous experience in a construction based company will be considered a strong asset.
Mechanic/Technician
The mechanic/technician will operate under UNEC Servicing Ltd focusing on the service and repair of marine, diesel engines, heavy vehicles and earth-moving/construction equipment of all types by applying technical knowledge and skills in order to test as well as diagnose faults as per manufacturer’s procedures, specifications as well as quality standards implemented within the company policy.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent. The successful applicant will ideally possess 1-2 years of relevant working experience, good interpersonal skills, the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team, fluency in Maltese and English and also be in possession of a driving license. Students having just obtained their Higher Diploma from MCAST are highly encouraged to apply.
Site Supervisor
Reporting to and assisting the Senior Projects Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
Supervising the daily operations
Organising and planning works
Ensuring assigned tasks are progressing according to planned timeframe
Deal with any administrative functions that may be required
Any ad-hoc duties that may arise at the sole discretion of the management.
The ideal candidate should be
In possession of a relevant qualification in civil engineering, coupled with strong hands and previous practical experience in the industry
Knowledgeable leader, good communicator, possess time management skills as well as being a highly analytical person
Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package
Conversant in both the English Language as well as Maltese.
