Store Coordinator

Filwaqt li qed nikbru u niżviluppaw, issa qed infittxu xi ħadd motivat għal-Koordinatur tal-Imħażen u ta’ ħila biex jingħaqad mat-tim tagħna bbażat fil-Barriera Ta’ Zuta, Had Dingli l/o Siggiewi. Il-koordinatur tal-Imħażen se jkun responsabbli biex jiżgura li l-ħwienet jinżammu u jkunu maħżuna kif suppost filwaqt li jiżgura li jiġu segwiti l-proċeduri għar-rappurtar tax-xiri.

 

Għanijiet Ewlenin Individwali:

  • Tikkoordina l-attivitajiet billi tiskeda inkarigi tax-xogħol, tistabbilixxi prijoritajiet u tidderieġi l-attivitajiet tax-xogħol tal-maħżen.
  • Tattendi kwalunkwe laqgħa relatata li tikkonċerna l-maħżen.
  • Iżżomm rekords aġġornati tal-kwantitajiet t’affarijiet fl-istokk.
  • Li jżomm rekords ta’ għodod żgħar tal-kiri u mpjanti u makkinarju ieħor misluf u li jiżgura li dawn jiġu rritornati f’kondizzjoni tajba u fil-ħin.
  • Jgħin fl-ordnijiet ta’ forniment billi jipprepara l-affarijiet meħtieġa biex jintbagħtu, filwaqt li jikkoordina u jissorvelja l-kunsinna ta’ dawn il-provvisti lejn is-siti tax-xogħol.
  • Li jiġi żgurat li l-proċeduri ta’ dokumentazzjoni kollha jiġu rispettati skont il-proċeduri tal-kumpanija u li dawn id-dokumenti jintbagħtu lid-dipartiment tal-finanzi fil-ħin.
  • Jissorvelja lil dawk li jżommu l-imħażen u jiżgura li l-kompiti delegati jitlestew u jinżammu rekords preċiżi.
  • Biex jinżamm kontroll tal-inventarju permezz tal-proċess tal-Moviment tal-Ħażna.
  • Jiġbor ir-rapporti meħtieġa kif u meta meħtieġ.
  • Żomm rekord aġġornat tal-għodod kollha mqassma lill-foremen u/jew lill-maniġers tas-sit.
  • Tikkoordina kontrolli regolari tal-istokk u teħid tal-istokk fuq bażi regolari.
  • Tittratta l-mistoqsijiet kollha b’mod professjonali u b’korteżija, personalment, bit-telefon jew permezz ta’ e-mail.
  • Li jinforma fil-ħin komunikazzjoni riċevuta u jgħaddihom lis-superjur.
  • Li żżomm iż-żona tal-maħżen tal-barriera b’mod sigur u organizzat.
  • Biex jiġi żgurat li l-leġiżlazzjoni tas-saħħa u s-sigurtà tal-OHSA tiġi implimentata kollha skont il-politiki tal-kumpanija.
  • Kwalunkwe dmir ieħor proporzjonat mal-livell ta’ din il-kariga, kif jista’ jiġi assenjat minn żmien għal żmien.

 

Kundizzjonijiet tax-Xogħol:

  • Li jkollok approċċ flessibbli u tkun lest/a li taħdem ħinijiet tax-xogħol irregolari kif u meta mitluba.
  • Appoġġ għall-iżvilupp tal-karattru, ħiliet, attitudni u prestazzjoni superjuri individwali u tat-tim.
  • Ir-rwol ikun ibbażat fil-Barriera Ta’ Zuta.
  • Ħinijiet tax-xogħol ġenerali mit-Tnejn sal-Ġimgħa 6:30-15:00 (Eskluż l-overtime, determinat mill-esiġenzi tan-negozju).
  • Il-pożizzjoni tista’ tinvolvi rfigħ tqil u tista’ tkun espost/a għal kundizzjonijiet diffiċli tat-temp.

As we grow and develop, we are now seeking a highly motivated and skilled Store Coordinator to join our team based at the Ta’ Zuta Quarry, Had Dingli l/o Siggiewi. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stores, whilst ensuring all materials entering and leaving are accounted for.

 

Individual Key Objectives:

  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities and directing the work activities of the store
  • Attend any related meetings concerning the store.
  • To maintain updated records of quantities of goods in stock.
  • To keep records of small tools on hire and other plant and machinery on loan and to make sure that these are returned in good working order and on time.
  • Assist in the supply orders by preparing goods required for onward dispatch, whilst coordinating and overseeing the delivery of these supplies to work-sites.
  • To ensure that all documentation procedures are adhered to in accordance with company procedures and that these documents are forwarded to the finance department in a timely manner.
  • Supervise storekeepers and ensure delegated tasks are completed and accurate records are kept.
  • To maintain inventory control through Stock Movement process.
  • To compile necessary reports as and when required.
  • Maintain an updated record of all tools distributed to foremen and or site managers.
  • Coordinate regular stock checks and a stock take on a regular basis.
  • To deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
  • To inform in a timely manner communication received and pass them on to superior.
  • To maintain the quarry warehouse area in a safe and organized manner.
  • To ensure that OHSA health and safety legislation is implemented throughout in accordance to company policies.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of this post, as may be assigned from time to time.

Working Conditions:

  • To have a flexible approach and be ready to work irregular working hours as and when requested.
  • Support the development of character, skills, attitude and superior individual and team performance.
  • Role would be based at the Ta’ Zuta Quarry.
  • General working hours Monday to Friday 6:30-15:00 (Excluding overtime, determined by business exigencies).
  • Position could entail heavy-lifting and could be exposed to adverse weather conditions.

 

Personal Characteristics, Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in Maltese and English, in order to be able to report adequately to superiors and to form good relations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, including the ability to respond to the needs of team members and provide them with assistance when and as required.
  • Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
  • Ability to act with integrity by being open and honest at all times.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with third parties.
  • Good working knowledge of computer and conversant with computer applications.
  • Flexible in approach to work commitments at all times.
  • A Maltese driving licence (Lic B).
  • Proficient in the usage of a computer.
